pml began operations in 1969, initially to provide pipeline cathodic protection monitoring and refurbishment services to the oil and gas industry in the United Kingdom. In recent years the company has grown significantly undertaking cathodic protection projects in all parts of the world and has become the major provider of close interval potential and DCVG pipeline surveys in the UK.
On 6th December 2009, Pipeline Maintenance Ltd (pml) became part of the Corrosion Technology Services Group of Companies (CTS) the leading provider of corrosion prevention services in the Middle East Region, with offices in United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and India.
pml strengthens the group’s industrial cathodic protection capability; the CTS group has the technical expertise and experience plus the financial resources to undertake major industrial and concrete cathodic protection projects in any part of the world. The group also benefits from the pml transformer rectifier manufacturing capability which has a worldwide reputation.
The combined group has more than 120 technical staff specialising in cathodic protection and internal corrosion monitoring.
All activities within the CTS Group are constantly monitored in accordance with our quality assurance procedures certified to ISO 9001 in order to ensure that the highest standards are maintained throughout every stage of manufacture and project execution. In addition PML and Corrosion Technology Services LLC are certified to ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
