Transformer Rectifier
pml design and manufacture a range of transformer rectifier units for the cathodic protection industry.

Oil or Air cooled Units can be supplied as follows:

  1. Single or Three Phase ac input
  2. Constant Voltage, Potential Controlled or Constant Current
  3. Single or multi channel outputs
  4. Thyristor, Variac, or Step dc output control:
  5. Analogue or digital meters

Enclosures (Protection up to IP65)

  1. Mild steel
  2. Stainless steel
  3. GRP

All units are fully inspected and tested before leaving our workshop. Test procedures include:

  1. Circuit connection checks
  2. Full load operation
  3. Heat run tests for a minimum of 12 hours
  4. High voltage insulation resistance tests

Optional Features to meet client specifications:

  1. Current Interrupters
  2. Heaters
  3. Alarms
  4. Watt or Hour meters

Coating

  1. Polyester powder
  2. Polyurethane
  3. Epoxy
  4. Zinc flame spray
  5. To suit client specification

Mounting

  1. Plinth

  4. Inside large GRP cabinets
  5. Pole

Junction Boxes

pml produce a wide range of bespoke junction boxes for cathodic protection applications including Negative distribution, anode termination, current control and bonding.

  • Coated or galvanised steel
  • Stainless steel
  • Aluminium
  • Fibreglass
  • GRP

Protection up to IP65 is available and EExd and EExe rated products are also available for hazardous area locations.

Internal panels are manufactured and tested in the pml workshop
